Pinks AMC

Was watching Pinks the other night and there was a guy from Maine, older guy, with a real sweet orage AMX. He almost made it to the last 4 until something broke with his tranny. On his second to last run the whole front end came of the ground, he ended up winning his race. Real nice to see against all the Chevys.

Anybody know of this vehicle/driver?

Watched that race last night on 'PINKS' all out.

'70 Jav had the most ferocious launches and brutal exhaust note - :shock:

A linkage bolt fall off one shifter arm inside the cabin
right after 1st gear launch - nose in the air he's fiddling with
the shifter - over revs 'n loses a rod bearing......

That was an awesome ride. I always watch Pinks in the hopes an AMC wins one day!
