Well, it't really starting to look like an engine again. About all that's left to do is the pulleys and belts, then it goes back in the Jeep.

Was having a terrible time trying to put the passenger side exhaust manifold on. Didn't have that much trouble putting it on with the engine in the Jeep last time, and couldn't get it on with the engine on the stand tonite. Finally realized the new ARP head bolt right under the center two exhaust ports on the passenger side was keeping the exhaust manifold from going in place. The ARP bolt head is much higher than the stock bolt head. Finally just replaced it with a stock bolt and the manifold went right on.

No problem on the driver's side.

Yeah those awnry little ARP Head Bolts #-o
Used'em for first time on my engine build
and had to do some grinding on the header flanges
at all 6 locations which needed little cresents to clear.
