I just picked up my "fresh" 360 and am trying to put it on my 1000 lb. engine stand. I'm using the top 2 bellhousing bolts and the bottom two; the ones with the alignment "pins". I put a bolt through and put a nut on the front side. I kinda thought this would be stronger than using the top 4 bolt holes. :dontknow:

Looks like you've got the "Jeep lean" already, ha, ha.

If you will turning the entire assembly over upside down on the stand, it looks a little "high". Cause of the weight of the heads if you turn it upside down it will be pretty heavy and hard to turn it back right side up. As pictured, if you can adjust the motor stand head arms so the motor sits lower relative to the stand head pivot pipe the engines weight would be more centered and it will turn over much easier. As is once you start turning to flip it at a certain point gravity will take over and it will take off and roll on over on it's own and a lot of weight will have to be lifted to get it back right side up. If there is no need to turn it upside down on the stand it doesn't matter.

I kinda thought it was sitting a bit high (and upside down)...it was late and I was tired...it's all good, I don't plan to turn it over :t:
