I saw that vid from Matsura. I dont agree with the way they machined it. It looks like they let the cad dictate the cam. I use CAD everyday and generate my own depth of tool path. I think that block could have been made in half the time using the right cutters :idea:
Its a great video though!

I think we need a one piece block/head design with a built in manifold you could run outrageous boost and no head gasket worries... (ok so the assembly problems might be a pita... but nothings perfect) :roll: #-o

You could install the valves through the cylinder, before the pistons were installed, but you'd need to figure out a creative piston ring compressor.
It could be done, no?

Its a cool way to make a drag only block becasue I didnt see any coolant passages being bored.

Have you seen Multiplicity, and the problems with cloning? Each step from the original gets worse. Three generations of clones, and it'll be Geo engines he's kickin out.
