I am looking for a machine shop in the tri state area (NY,NJ,CT)that knows how to build perfromance amc motors? I want to freshen up a 70 390 for my amx.

Can't help you in the NY, NJ, CT area, but I can definitely tell you one TO STAY AWAY FROM in the PA area.

I'd think twice about using that shop Fuzz recommended. You'll probably get your engine back and it will be making 500 HP and running 12 second quarter miles.
I think those NJ guys are probably converting AMC engines to flux capacitors and powering them with nuclear and biological waste they recover from their beaches.
