thats what i said too.

I'll do it again someday. With t he 401 WT Chief, and the 401 CJ-7 and the 2 CJ2a i maintain up at the ranch and the diesel chief project as well as looking at proposing soon the 8 is going to just gather cobwebs down in my lumber yard b4 it ever sees the road, better for it to get used by someone who needs it than for it to get burried under old boxes for all these years.

We all get to have our dreams so close to our finger tips only to realize that the dream is bigger than what you really need.

5 years and $20k worth of leasons and blown up motors its time to throw in the towel ........... at least for awhile since the 6 day a week job doesnt exactly leave time for anything else

any interest in selling the 500 edelbrock carb? I've been looking for one at a reasonable price. Should be worth about the same as a 600cfm.

Crap. it has a manual choke right?

well crap... for some reason when i checked the numbers i had it down in my mind as a 500.

Let me know what you want me to do.

i'll refund you and i'll pay the shipping getting it back out here.

Im really sorry for misleading you and getting your hopes up on that one. #-o

I'll get it to work. I was hoping for a 500 but a 600 should work OK. I'm replacing my 600 Holley that I'm tired of trying to keep in tune. every time the weather changes up here i'm out of tune. I think i'll be fine I already got the parts coming to convert it to electric and off-road.

We all hit that spot in life where sometimes a toy or two has to be sacrificed to head off disaster or to re-insure that winter doesnt catch you off gaurd. this one just needed to be sacrificed.

the future wife already endorses the purchasing of another CJ8 down the road. she was pissed i sold this one

That's where the bosses are - I'm the road warrior #-o . The good thing is it look's like after the Shopping Season in Everett, WA (Dec 3-22) I may be home again for a while (in VA anyway) my January Japan trip fell off the schedule today.
