Detroit electric locker

anyone have some input on this..is it good? bad? will the electric part fail? water...??? let me know

ive heard that they are OK but have alot of small parts inside and can come apart under hard use. I think but I may be describing a different unit. I know that they arent as solid as an OX or ARB air locker if you can afford one they will probably be much better for a selectable locker.
fourwheeler magazine had a couple of writeups on lockers and I think that JPmagazine may have as well.

I've yet to see one work more than a trip or two out. Junk, IMHO. If you MUST have a selectable locker, ARB is the only way to go.

I'd never mess with a selectable, ever. Detroit if it sees street duty. Spool if it's offroad only.
