Buddy just picked up a good runnin 89' grand waggy and wants to sell me the Dana 44's, 360, TF727 and some other goodies........since this motor is known to me to be 100% ok would there be any drawbacks to a 89' block verses a block from mid 70's? Any different parts internally? Different flywheel?

Not sure if this may be the Mitsubushi Starter / Ring Gear period or not ? :-|
All dimesional pieces and parts are same as 70's.
Some block and head casting areas may be lighter, less overbore capability.
Bridged rocker heads of course.

I think you should have no problems as long as all your parts are sound. :lo1l:
