I am going to buy a Tig welder next week .I was looking at the miller 200 dx.they have a 250 model they used for demo's they will sell at cost .Is it going to be worth it or is the 200 powerful enough ?
I would hate to have to buy two

what are you going to weld with it... But if you can get a 250 for cost jump on it and try to work the price even lower... 8) If you are uncertain as to the welders capability etc call the manufacturer and get it from the horses mouth

I have used the 250 .It will weld aluminun heads, blocks ect.
what I don't know is if it is over kill or if the 200 would work fine.
most of the welding I would be doing is chassi stuff .But I might if I could weld aluminum.
I was just wondering if anybody had a 200 .were they happy or did they feel they needed more..
the 200 is 2 G's and the 250 will cost about 3.5 g's.
thanks
