Hello all,
A few months ago, the gear on my cam was trashed. While replacing it, I decided to replace the timing chain cover. I got everything back together a few days ago (having a twenty month old kinda kills the jeep time). Tried to drop my dizzy in and with this new cover it won't seat all the way down about 5/16" gap. I changed both the dizzy gear and cam gear. It sat flush in the old chain cover. I even took the oil pump out to try to get it down. I also tried bumping the engine and the only thing that happened was the dizzy turned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
