Leaf Spring Questions

I have a 1974 AMC Javelin AMX with factory H.D. leaf springs. The car only has 36,000 miles and has been sitting for 32 years without being driven.

Should the springs be OK or do they need re-arcing?

Should the front & rear bushings be replaced?

Should the rubber pads (between the springs) be replaced?

OR

Should I just buy new or NOS?

I would run it as is. You wont know if the bushings need replacing unless they get sloppy or fall out. You will know for sure if they need replacing. The leaf spring plastic sliders are for load and unloading your spirngs without ahving them rub against each other. When they do they produce a squeeking screaching noise...definately annoying #-o
