You are welcome. And please don't call me Sir, I was an NCO and worked for a living, ha, ha. I was respected for what I did, not the rank on my uniform.

Thread hijack....

I find it's funny you say that. I work with the military all the time, and I'm accustomed to saying Sir and Ma'am. People in the general public look at me like I have three heads when I say that.

I'm a SFC stationed at Fort Drum in New York hitting 16 years next month if that explains anything. 111!!! I, as much as anyone, appreciate veterans. :sa: Does anyone know the weight difference between stock and Edelbrock cylinder heads??? Trying to figure out the additional weight loss (gain) going aluminum among the others obvious reasons.

Aluminum is about 1/3 the weight of cast iron so the edelbrock heads probably weigh less than half what the stock ones do.

Do you have an actual number (lb/kg) by any chance? Or I just could steal my wifes bathroom scale, but I just had back surgery?!

Edelbrock heads are exaclty half of the iron heads
