I posted this in suspension by mistake,so here goes again. My 97 gr cherokee wipers only work in low or high ,but no intermittent functions. The wipers also dont park in the correct position. Is it the wiper motor or switch in steering column thats acting up? thanks JJL

Could be the switch or the "governor." Intermittent wipers have a governor under the dash that controls the intermittent speeds. It is usually a little black box in the wiper switch circuit.
I would bet the multifunction switch is bad. The part# is 4728424 $102.00 and it is available within a day or two from your local jeep dealer.

You are correct. That part# fits a LOT of vehicles built between 1990-2002. JJL if you would like a list of all the vehicles pm me a fax# and I will send it to you.
