Hey , who can you refer me to (shop-wise) that can off-set grind and nitride my AMC crank? I don't have any shops locally that can handle the nitriding. Also, is having the crank cryo'ed worth the extra expense? FYI this is a race-only motor. Thanks!

If you send it to our shop we can get all the work done for you. What stroke and what rod size? We use Crankshaft suply and diversified cryogenics or frozenrotor.com. Both are in the twin cities.

3.800 stroke ..rods are 6.125 chevy h-beam with a 2.100 journal and .927 pins. Can you provide a rough estimate of the cost for each procedure? Also, can I get a phone # and a good time to call so I can speak to someone directly? Thanks, Kevin

Kevin our # is 651-257-7917 A rough estimate is $625 for the grinding $130 for the cryogenic treatment and $100 for the nitriding. This is a *rough estimate and most likely a little bit cheaper.
