Lots of choices out there. What are the good and bad ones?

Aluminum??

Stainless?

There seems to be a wide range in cost from $150.00 up to $400.00+ and the differences must be somewhere. I always thought the aluminum ones were for non-street use and the stainless ones were better for long term street motors, but to tell you the truth I know very little about the differences.

Someone do a full report on them?????????

Sorry dude been way too busy. Most are fine you can use a Ford small block rocker if you arent using the factory studs. Stay away from ebay red colored rockers and the ebay rockers that say (Best rocker) they are procomp and arent any good.

If you want to go roller then the aluminum rockers will be fine. Crane golds or equivalent. Their are *some good import rockers out there as well. When your ready to pull the pin let me know I may have some here.

Well I am going to use the stud type heads on the 401 truck project so YES I will be buying rollers in the next 30 days or so.
Still not decided on piston type, static compression ratio, exact cam selection. This much I know:

401
Bulltear oiling mods
9:1 com ratio( ???)
Edelbrock Performer
Engle RV cam
Holley Avenger carb
Edelbrock TES exhaust
