AMC 401
9.7:1 CR .030 over
cast rings
Forged speed pro pistons.
HMV 272 cam 272/284 dur 216/228 @.050 .484/.512 lift 112 lobe seperation
balanced and blue printed.
Manual tranny flywheel. i also have a th400 flex plate if you want it.
Cloyes double roller timing chain.
performer intake with 600 edelbrock on top.
New HEI distributor, with perfomance ignition module, properly curved
Flow cooler water pump (new)
No oil pressure issues. :!:
mechanical fuel pump, holley performance pump.
new starter
Less than 2k miles since rebuild and all parts were installed. Dello 400 15/40 oil with Wix filters
Currently installed in a 74 jeep cherokee chief so you can come hear it run take for a drive. not desperate to sell, it runs and drives, but i have a 4bta sitting in my garage that i may some day install int he chief but only if the 401 has to come out.
also possible to include if motor sells or with motor sale:
edelbrock shorty headers ceramic coated $195
advanced adapters bellhousing for nv4500 includes correct input shaft, bearing retainer and clutch $350
Motor running as is $2100 firm
all assembled and running with recently installed PS pump and 1 wire GM 100 amp alternator you couldnt buy, disassemble and build one for this and this one jsut got assembled.
