I am about to rebuild a AMC 360. I am building this for torque and it is going into a Jeep CJ. What oiling mods do you recommend? It will have new pistons to raise compression, RV cam, R4B, Q-Jet carb and I want to build it for a little more RPM (something like 6000 RPM max). With all this in mind I was thinking I would just have to re drill the cam bearings. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

More oil in the pan is all I do for my drag motor, yes it is the stock pan. On a Jeep you cant put a bigger pan so just add 1 more qt. If you dont spin it to 6000 rpm all the time or high RPM for a long time you would not need to extra qt.

I had an issue on my amx (when I had a stock pan using 1 extra quart) it would still suck the pan dry @ 5800rpm. My cure but an expensive cure none the less was a milodon single external pick-up pan kit. Now bulltear didnt have their 8 quart pans available @ the time or I would have opted for theirs.
