i have replaced the intake gasket twice now and it keeps leaking in the back along the firewall and its :(: me off. any suggestions? i used the valley pan and used high temp black rtv

Is it oil or coolant its seeping? Intake leaks are one of my peeves #-o

only oil but it is a steady drip i used the rubber pieces the first time but not this time.

are you sure its the intake and not the valve covers? I would pull it again and put down a heavier bead of rtv. I thought mine was leaking but i found out it was just the valve cover gasket squeezed out the back.

found out the previous owner decked the heads so i need to shave the new intake to match. the upside is i also found out about the better better compression and that the heads were ported and polished.
