I am running a 670 Holley projection on the 69 390 in my CJ,runs pretty hot, borderline overheating. It didnt do this when carburated,I've messed with the settings, trying to richen it up.should I just go back to a four barrel?

Pretty typical!! Try to make it as rich as possible and see if that changes. You may also have to adjust your timing or quite possibly have a thermostat/clutch fan/water pump issue.

I addressed all the coolant parts, the 670 TBI has only 2 injectors,I like not flooding out on inclines and off cambers but like I said, didnt seem to run this hot when I was carburated

does it run much stronger? more power=more heat. you could try changing the timing too maybe pull a few degrees out of it

Lean condition can cause overheating. So can improper timing.
