AMC oil pan leak

How do you stop these pans from leaking? The rear of the pan around the main cap where it meets the block is pretty square, but the pan corners are all round.. Am I getting the wrong oil pan gasket? Or are you just supposed to use gobs of RTV on these two corners? We can't see that the gasket would really conform and seal.

It's costing me a fortune in oil. My skidplate will never rust though.

Read my post "Oil pan Gasket" I went through the same thing until I finally got it right. It takes paitience....
