Hey all,

So before I put on the AFI throttle body kiton my 360, I figured I might as well redo the head gaskets as one was leaking a little bit. Good times.. :?
Pulled the heads everything looks ok - as far as I know
I am curious about these pistons - they are not stock - can anyone identify them? Are they "flat top" Supposedly the block is bored .030.... Had an edelbrock intake and stock cam.

and might I add that it is a ROYAL PITA to do this - took a coolant bath, had to remove the AC compressor (on board air), power steering pump, etc. :(:

Look like factory cast replacements to me. Not "flat tops", but "dished" since the outer lip is higher than the center. Probably the stock 8.25:1.

It all looks clean. Button it back up and enjoy.

Are these the ones I said looked identical to mine? Badger brand. Look for a number inside the skirt starting with a "B". Mine are B891 (9.0:1). You can get all of the specifications off of KEITH BLACK SILVOLITE. Hope this helps.
