The 360 I am working has a rusty oil pan.
Not rusty as in rotten, but lots of surface scale.
I've been working on cleaning it up to paint by using a wire wheel on my die grinder.
I got one side done and it still looks like doggie doo.
Been thinking about a replacement oil pan.
I see where Bulltear has a sale on the 8 quart oil pan.
So, I am writing to ask for advice if I need or want a larger oil pan.
My 360 is going in a 1982 J10 that will see mostly the street and maybe some light trail riding with a trip or two the Dunes at Silver Lake Michigan.
Are the extra 3 quarts be the worth it?
Is the pickup tube for the deeper pan hard to install?
