Porting Stock Exhaust Manifolds ???

360 Build Sheet:
.030 over w/new cast pistons
Edelbrock cam, heads, intake, T/C
Howell TBI w/DUI

Can you port the stock manifolds? If so, is it worth the "grind time?"

*asking because looking inside there is a "step" that looks as though it would hinder flow. But then again, was it there for a reason and needs to be left alone ?!

Yes you can smooth out as far as you can and then send them out for extrude honing. This makes for a killer set of exhaust manifolds.
