Installed a new cam.......called for a lifter pre-load of .020-.040. Long story, but the best I could get is .045-.065. That is what it is going to stay. Just want to know if anyone has had this issue before.
What do the engine builders out there have to say about increasing the pre-load slightly? Would like to get some real world feed back, not some theoretical what could possibly happen stuff.
Went thru alot just to get to this point. Next time (if there ever is one), I will change over to an adjustable rocker.
