At the bottom is a clip of the Waggy... It's not the prettiest :!: and it's definitely not the quietest... The red marks identify the cancer that needs to be removed... Don't mind the engine bay and the mess/clutter I haven't gotten around to play/clean it up...
My plans are to get this beast on the road and then chop the top and remove everything from behind the driver/passenger seats... then go full rollcage and have a custom cover made for "some" protection of the weather... lol. The 1 tons will be rolling under her probably this winter or next summer.. I'm looking at moving the rear axle back 8" to 10"...

I still need to tweak it a little... I'd like to run true dual exhaust... 3"... nut if I do that I have to relocate the gas tank... So, it's currently looking like I'll have to run a 2 into 1 and go from there...

I'm digg'n the venition blinds you've got in the side windows (starting at time :24) 8)

Glad to see you got it out of the shop. I finally got my front knuckle together this morning - after a calming ride around Yorktown park on the bike and getting the yard cut! Had class yesterday so didn't get anything accomplished

VENTIAN blinds - like the ones inside the windows in the house  It was the reflection of the siding on the windows, looked like you have pull up Venetian blinds inside the WAG 111!!!

I've been busy on the Waggy... I actually have to update this thread (can't do it here at work though  )... I did get the HEI and 8.5mm wires shipped to my door for $113.45 from Whites Performance... These guys are awesome to deal with and their shipping is SUPER FAST!!! I measured the lengths and diameters, everything measured good and fit perfectly. :!: I'll have to post pictures of the quality machined housing =D>

Well, here is a little update of the Wag.

When I got her.

After I got bored with her.

Now that the top is off and the face lift is 80% complete, it's time to start on the roll-cage. An awesome guy in NN Va bent me up three hoops, I gotta wait for the fourth (there seems to be a shortage of DOM)

Front hoop bent and being held inposition by string

These next pics you can see where the 4th hoop is needed...

Here is a pic of the rear with a Ford Bronco 33gal fuel tank... She sits low but, once I finish the new 1 ton rear, 4" springs and some 38's she'll be away from the ground... Future plans are to fab up a skid plate made from 1/4" plate.

Well, this is short and to the point... I'm current measuring for a custom t-case shifter (for a TH350/Ford 205 combo)...

Thanks man....
Here is a little more progress... not much but, it's something. I still need to put the front cross bar for the side support and the two outer top tubes connecting the 1st hoop to the 2nd hoop. The 3rd hoop needs to be bent up... The 2nd and 3rd hoop will get the "X"... Did you ever get that feeling like you're going roll it? :t:

Well, I got a little more done on the rollcage... man, it was a hot one today... I had a few design changes... Instead of doing the "X" on the 2nd hoop I am doing a "Y".. I will be fabricating a bolt-in crossmember with a mounting plate to tie it into the cage. Plus when it's time for a new body I can remove it all without any extra work. lol

Well, I got the other hoop bent and I should be able to tack together the rest of the cage by the end of the night...
Here is a short vid of me taking the "project" down the road... I need to hold the shifts a little longer...

Didn't get too far on the cage last night... between the cold frosty ones and the crappy weather (my excuses for laziness) this is what I did.

Weather SUX! Too damned hot to give a 'Rats' butt!! haven't got much done in the yard, got the new forks on the Harlley and a wee bit done on the hydroboost brakes for the Jeep.

Weather has been crazy... I guess that's what happens when the Gov't plays with it... :!:
Anyway, below is another pic....

I have 90% of the cage together or tacked... Need another stick to finish it off...

Hmmm, sometimes you have to stop the video and then restart it.
It was about 1/2 throttle slightly more... I still had plenty of room to the floor. On the way back I got on it and it spun the 35's then it caught and I shifted to 2nd. I'll have to wait for the full HP run until my holley comes back and the plates are on it. But, nobody here (wife  ) wants to ride in it... My buddy is leaving to go to Great Mistakes (RDC) I know he would... But, I'm sure I can find one of the guys that I work with to ride shotgun... I'll have a video recorder just in-case. :!:
This would be a fun motor to put in a car that weighs 3200 lbs max. :-|

Well, the waggy is no-more. I Junked the rusted body and decided to go with the frame and work up from there. I'm calling it, "Project DOA"... Once the 496 is built and tested she'll be going into this project. Plans are to do a full rollcage that sits 4 to 6 people... Doing the 1 tons w/4.56's locked (HP D60, FF 14Bolt Rear)... Looking at 38"-42" tires mounted on beadlocks. I'll be using a Ford 435, Ford 203 gearbox mated to a Ford 205... This set-up will give me around 120:1 Crawl Ratio as well as the ability to run her in the mud... Should be a fun project. Stay Tuned.
Before the Knife & stitches (welding)..

Below is a pic of part of the old cage sitting on the frame... this is just for rough measurements. This thing will be a flat bottom rig and I was thinking about making storage compartments under the floorboards... I'll be able to put supplies, food, parts, tools etc... I'm figuring the compartments will be roughly 8" deep and how ever long I want them. Heck, I Might have to make one into a beer chest... lol
