I got wind of Flatlander Racing putting together an AMC crank, rod and piston combo ready to install. Looks like 4.00 stroke, 6 inch AMC specific rods and custom pistons in your choice of bore. Cost for assembly approx $2500 and available in 4-6 weeks. Does Bulltear offer something like this?

MC was working on something like this a while back, using a custom crank and pistons, and a 6" Chevy rod. I think that finding a reliable and affordable manufacturer for the cranks was a problem.

He'll chime in once he's back from vacation.

Yeah they are stroking the public to see what kind of turnout their may be to make it worth their while. K1 is where they are getting their rotating assemblies for the custom stuff. Definately Chinese material and machining. The thing is that K1 will tell you that the cranks show up perfect and others getting from the same source have had mixed results. Caveat Emptor my friend.

Thanks for the warning but I was merely looking for Bulltears offerings as a comparison.
