first post guys.

I bought a 360 motor from a guy who had all the machine work done, boght 90% of the parts, but lost interest and sold it to me.

So anyway, the heads have been machined for rocker studs and guide plates. I just went to mock up the valvetrain, and the guideplates dont fit the inner two sets of rocker studs. The contour of the head looks like more needs to be machined away to allow the guideplates to lay flat. I did searches all night last night and couldn't find any other people on the entire internet that had this problem.

arp studs w/ Isky universal guidep plates.

Can someone recommend a new set of guideplates that are 1/8" thick and would fit the heads without additional machine work? Or do my heads have to be machine more to fit any guide plate?

here are some pics...
