This is not a post to throw mud but I want to know if my problem is known to more people.
I purchased recently the upgraded timing cover kit, incluing the oil pump gear, midplate etc. The box it was shipped in was undamaged and I built the engine in my living room.
So, I know it hasn't been dropped are damaged otherwise.
Now, after 250 miles driving oil is leaking between the pressed idler gear shaft and the casting. Bulltear responded directly to my email but his solution doesn't satisfy my. The recommendation is to clean it and put Locktite over the leakage. Here you can see the leakage on Youtube.

Living in the Netherlands I can not simply pull it down an take it to them. So I want a new one. But I also can understand Bulltears warrantee policy. However, this seems a production failure, it is clearly not cracked.

Are more people having this problem ?

I haven't heard of one leaking there before, but I can see where it could. Bulltear doesn't manufacture the covers, they just verify the fitment/tolerances before shipping to the customer. There is no way to check for leakage at that shaft. I would think that Locktite would be an acceptable and permanent fix if the surfaces are cleaned before it's applied.
