Is anyoneasy using cut files from cncdxffiles.com on your Starlab machines? Thinking about purchasing some files from them and wanted to get some input.

Got my control box straightened out with candcnc. Turns out that when the water table gets cold then gets hot it sweats really bad and drips on the control box. But runs pretty good now. My concern with the files from them would be the detail in the pictures. I've had trouble with my torch hanging up on fine detail stuff like lettering. Anyway to slow the adjustment of the hieght control?. Been babysitting it and cutting it off on small area and back on when long cuts come up or the final cut.

Walter you should have a number 5 or 6 in the MIN distance for DTHC in your operation.

This in sheetcam or in mach? I'll have to look at this weekend. Did make some splash guards around the side that seemed to be doing well along with plumbing some water barrels under the table with air. Amazing how fast 2 psi will fill the table with no slats in it!598

Holy TEBUGULA! Look at those guards. This would be a feature in your settings when you do an operation in sheetcam.

Okay I've got a good idea where it is. It makes a big mess when the plasma comes back across the water when it's still blowing. Put a strip of .125" by 1" down the end of the slats then some 8 inch tall straps of 16 gage work great to keep water from splashing all over the waysummer. Then just take the sides out to load metal
