My jeep engine was rebuilt several years ago (5000 to 8000 miles ago) by local machine shop.
I had valve covers off recently and just now noticed one rocker arm out of 16 has NO oil hole thru it.
Looking at receipts, it looks like it is sealed power rockers part # R875 were used.

Question:
Surely they are all supposed to have oil holes, correct?
If so, has damage likely resulted?
it's toward the back left/passenger side.
is there a chance this was done on purpose to improve oiling elsewhere?
(I am NOT an experienced engine builder obviously).

Do I need to replace both rockers and both push rods on that cylinder?

Very poor job on the part of the machine shop. Yes, all the rockers should have oil holes. Damn Chinese crap. I never put the valve covers on until I prime the oil pump and see oil at ALL of the rockers. Chances are that it's gotten enough oil from splash that there's no damage (depending on mileage). If there is damage it would be at the pivot in the rocker bridge. I'd take the rocker off and replace at least that rocker and the pivot. The set isn't that expensive, so I'd replace it just to be sure. Do check the tip of the pushrod, but it should be OK because oil is getting to that point.

Thank you for your input Bob.
That makes me worry about what all else was done wrong.
