what I am looking for is the cover for a th-400 from a jeep cant seam to find mine

you mean the round cover or the little th400 cover

the 1 that covers up the converter and flex plate like an ispection cover

fuzz order a 30 dollar one from summit, they are chrome and have drain and breathing vents.............VERY COOL

i take it they are the same as a chevy cover then ?

Not even close. Jeep TH400 uses the same block plate and front plate as manual trans, different bottom cover than anything else. Easiest to find on a '73-'79 FS Wagoneer or truck.

I took a piece of 16ga galvanized and made one for my 258 to T-5. Took about 1/2 hour and that included rolling in lips, beads and painting :D
