what Model trans case is this??

Question Professor... Over the past 15 years I have aquired a collection of "donor" FJS's. I have a 74 Wagoneer with the 360/th400 combo. However I do not know what kind of tranfer case it has. :oops: I know it isn't a QT, so that leaves me with what? Dana 20 or 18?

Dana 20 jd, great set up, adaptor prone to breakage around the casting that bolts to the tranny. worht some bucks, bet it has no adaptor ring either

Yea, If memeory serves me correctly it doesn't have the adapter ring between the tranny/engine.
So if the adpter between the trans & tranny is prone to breakage, where so you get a stronger on?

i think novak makes a replacement, i know i am very soon. Not sure about novaks, but the ones i am making are 1 piece billet

no rush, I am piecing together another Wagoneer from my pile of jeeps. I still have to pull the trans/tranny out of one, and finish the motor.
