OK here is the end result, a dana 44 front that is a legal widetrack cj size, but this info can be applied to any width and most front ends, Currently i am building a 82" wide dana 70 front for my little monster, pics soon!

here is used a Hot wrench (torch) to cut most of the weld, notice how some is left, i will have to grind this off using a 4" minigrinder

Next you will want to grind the weld off the knuckles
