I have a surco safari rack, but when i bought itI couldn't see spending $60 for light tabs! ($30 a pair) So, I went to my local home depot and Bought a piece of angle aluminum, a piece of square tube aluminum, and some nuts, bolts, and washers. I cut a long piece of the angle aluminium to tie the 4 lights together. Then I cut 4 pieces of the square tube aluminum to connect the lights to the rack. I drilled a hole in the end of each of the 4 pieces for the light bolts to go through. Then I cut out about an inch and a half of the sides at the opposite end of the holes, drilled smaller hole at this end. The cut out sides form a channel, slip this part over one of the bars on the rack and tighten with a bolt! Your done! This rack has hit many branches and vines but still holds up well!
