it maybe before feb, these are replacements for the factory. However rumor has it that novak is creeping in on this. Im not worried i can do it alot cheaper :wink: and with better quality :idea: I will pm you when we start turning these out ok

Could you do a t-18 to D300 adapter ???? :shock:

You are the man buddy, I think I've welded mine for the last time..............don't think she can take anymore Captain or else she will burst.
And factory replacement is much better for me, the AA one requires a change in the TH400 output shaft. I just got my tranny beafed up and I don't feel like tearing apart to change a goofy output shaft.

Why not find a used Commando with an TH400. They were bolted to the Dana 18, so they will either be a direct bolt, or will have the adapter that you need.

Erik the commandos with the th400's had the dana 20's on them, that is the adaptor i will be making, it replaces the factory one that is very prone to breakage....LOL ive got a couple here :mrgreen:

Dangit barry I'm sorry its taking so long. We have been doing some outsourced work and R&D is taking a pounding....These replace the factory adaptors that crack and break. So for your application you would need a main shaft and a adaptor and a 20 case because of the minor differences in the bullgear (thats specific to the adaptor)

we are entering it into CAD this weekend and hope to have a couple of prototypes next week...Its going to be a tough chunk of aluminum thats for sure

thats right almost done...milling them from a 40lb block of aluminum..should be almost 4 times tougher than the original

Kinda cool how a cnc works isnt it BB? We hope to have 4 finished adaptors by this saturday (pushing it) it is a 12 tool operation and it takes 3 different set ups.......but man are these beefed where it counts!
