Acft Tow Tractor mainly used by the USAF, Drove one some years ago when I was overseas to move a broke plane into the Hanger so we could fix it and get the hell out of town.

Military version of the CJ-10.

That guy in the early rockcrawling comps, made his CJ-10 visible by using a heavy foot to compensate for lack of gearing.

That is cool looking.

On the same topic, Do you know what this is a pic of??

Yep, it's a CJ-4.

Here is a interesting page with 3 or 4 links about the CJ-4.

That guys name is Chris Durahm. He's a great guy and fun to watch. He loved his 401. Sadly he has a new competition buggy this year. It will be a one seater with a turbo charged 300HP 4 cyl.

I could tell he loved his 401. He wasn't afraid to spin it up. I watched one video where he couldn't make it on crawl, so he tried the hammer foot. That didn't work either. He was spinning his huge tires going nowhere. It sounds cool, but is a little bit of bad PR for the 4x4 world, at least when it is on a video that is being marketed.

Cool truck nonetheless.

Two-seat CJ tub, with a different nose, would be really cool with a flat bed on it. :t:

There are a couple of those CJ-10's or what ever they are driving around Great falls Montana.
