Any one have the bullit proof cylinder head bolt sequence that they can share with me? Im doing the head swap tomorrow ! Any help would be appreciated thx Mike! :lo1l:

1. Coat stud bolt #11 with Loctite 592 sealant or equivalent.
2. Tighten all bolts to 22 ft/lbs following sequence.
3. Tighten all bolts to 45 ft/lbs following sequence.
4. Recheck all bolts at 45 ft/lbs following sequence.
5. Tighten all bolts to 110 ft/lbs, except #11 at 100 ft/lbs.

Torque Rocker Arm Assemblies to 19 ft/lbs.
Torque Spark Plugs to 27 ft/lbs
Torque Valve Cover bolts to 70 in/lbs


Torque the Intake/Exhaust Manifold to 23 ft/lbs

Pictures are of a 4.0 head going on a 258 block but it should be the same

I am not sure. I have read that in a few different places. I think that bolt may go into a water jacket. But not really sure.
