heard some talk on here that the 9" detroit was rough to drive, engagement could throw you between lanes... any truth to this? i already have a 9" with a detroit, not yet installed... thats why i gotta ask

Never heard anything bad about a detroit for just one application. I have heard that it can shift you over a little at higher speeds. You are talking about a full time locker, you'll get used to it. So did ya get the 35 spline detroit????

I haven't had mine over about 55 in a long time. I haven't had any problems other than just the normal tire chatter at low turning speeds. No inadvertant lane shifts or anything like that.

Hey CJ401, welcome to the Bulltear board :? .

A couple comments, I still can't get the link to your pics to work. I keep getting the "The page cannot be displayed" message. Could be a bandwidth thing where you exceeded your quota, or Yahoo is playing games again - they've done it before. Ripway (www.ripway.com) is pretty easy and so is WEBSHOTS (http://www.webshots.com/homepage.html) (follow the links)

Also, if you just want to post a pic, resize it to 400pixels wide or 2.25 inches and use the picture from the tool bar in the message window. This way the pic will show up on the board instead of a link.

Again - WELCOME!!
