Ok, my 77 Cherokee has some major rust, nothing that isn't fixable but still pretty major. I am thinking of getting another cherokee that has the engine/trans/xfer case removed and just swapping in my drive train from the one I currently own. Then strip all the stuff out of the current cherokee and sell them (windows, seats, dash stuff, axles, electrical stuff, etc and get rid of the bad part. Or sell that rolling body complete for someone to strip themselves. What do you fellas/Ladies think?

I would get it, body parts are hard to come by somtimes, and even certi-fit (HA HA) parts dont fit well sometimes either
-
well if I can figure out how to get a non running SJ from CA to WA and not break the bank acct, I think I can make a deal with this fella and have an engine to rebuild to boot.

LOL Yeah I know its that simple....... the problem is I dont' have a trailer, and my tow vehicle is why I bought the 77 Cherokee. As much as I trust my YJ I wouldn't use it to tow a FSJ 1200 miles.
