actually Fuzz I think it was 1980 when they went to the 727. I had a 79 Waggie when I was a kid that had a th400 in it.
If that is right ,I might have 3 of them , 74 j10, 76,77 cherokees
actually the 727 wasnt in any production FSJ till 81 but had a build date of 80 (man am i a jeep nerd.........LOL)
any one know if the yoke off a quadratrack will fit on the 300 transfer case? I would like to use the front drive shaft ,the one with the double u-joint in the rear of my cj7. It looks like about the same length.
quad yoke came in 2 counts 10 spline and .?????? 31spline???? dont know but i do know both of them dont fit a 300, sorry
What was the 300 used in and what are its advantages/disadvnatages over the 20?
The 300 was used in 80-86 cj's 1980 scouts and it had a 2:46-1 low ratio and was a little stouter than the 20 case, the 20 having a 2-1 low ratio was a decent case but the 300 is the ticket if your thrifty or dont want to spend a stupid amount of money on your T-case (atlas)
They bolt up to a th400 w/ and an adapter?? Was that a stock item or is it stricktly aftermarket?
Only the 20 was bolted to a th400 in specific years 67-73 FSJ (*)
