Let me know what you think.
First proper video I've done of my Jeep since I dropped the 360 into it a little while back.

Looks and sounds really nice. Warning, It sucks blowing a u-joint when you jump on the gas like that.
And I bet if you really try, from a start you could pull the front tires off the ground

Haha yes I can.Quote:

Wow. You have a comp cam 268H? How high do you rev it on the video?
Mine runs out of steam at about 4200 RPMs with Edelbrock's Performer Plus Cam....
You might want to watch the RPMs and flooding the top of heads with oil and draining the majority of the sump... rear mains won't like that too much... Sort of makes me want to sell the 42's, drop the jeep back down to the stock height, toss on some street slicks and get on it... hehehe...

No.. I think I'd probably kill myself!!! Imagine a CJ7 doing a double-back twist with an added high speed roll... #-o Although that would get some "O" "Uhg" and the pucker effect from myself and on lookers...
I don't imagine that T176 is going to lat too long
I don't know about that T-176 lasting.. I still have mine in a full size J-10 that runs mid 14's and tows the CJ.. and it has been doing it since 1990.. (I bought a spare and have had it sitting there all this time, thats probably why.. ) but I have abused the snot out of it.. and nary a whimper.. and the J-10 wieghs 5800 lbs with 350 to 400 hp up front and 33x12.50 s
What mufflers is that thing rocking? :lo1l:

Hey Mills chill out man....its all peave, love, and harmony around here like MC's smily states haha but you ain't gots to a smarta$$ bout it bub.....ive got hooker aero chambers that do sound a bit like flow 40's so think wisely before you speak 8)
My apologies for my tone! :splat: I was merely trying to point out that during the walk-around portion of the video, at 1 minute and 19 seconds I believe, the type of mufflers are stated as being Flowmaster 40 series ](*,) . I'll be nicer in any other posts. Again, my apologies.
yea.....i didnt catch it in there when i was watching it but now that i watched it over again i do hear its in there
I would like to point out that the Physiological reaction to a nice ride sitting there going lumpety lump is about the same as at a bikini contest or Hooters wet T-shirt contest.. you know the one where you finally realize someone is talking to you and you go HUH?? Whuzzat?? So I went back and viewed your video and I'll be darned, there is talking..quite alot of it actually.. but I dont remember hearing it the first time..
hahaha :?
Scribble, very nice, how does you rig do for fuel mileage if your driving it semi normal?
Greg
HMmm, now I want to find a 360 to replace my very docile 304...
I got 18 MPG out of my CJ-7 with a stock 360 T-18 354's and 35's. My built up, 71 AMX 360 gets about 10 MPG.
Nothing like flow masters and a wicked AMC V-8 :lo1l:
=D> That 5 gets with it! Nice job, now I really need to get my motor done in my 7!
makes me dive into my 94 GC V-8 even more. V-8's are just way too much fun :lo1l:
