What did it come off of ? I got a 360 motor that I can part out.
I pulled the cover off my motor and the # is 3220502-2
WT where do you live, I would like to get that head from you, the one i have is a -1 which means it was from a 401 (im pretty sure) but a -2 is the same casting
I live in NC. I could ship it to you. want to trade a set oil pump gears? Oh and what side do you need?
doesnt matter which side, i will send you a set of oil gears and a high pressure spring, but no high flow yet
I will pull it off this week and ship it UPS . Send me an address. Mine Is 83 Jack Hambrick rd. Roxboro NC. 27573
bridged rocker head 360 or 401
that head had a strange thickness to it and teh tooling was very good so it flowed very well, i only have one and have no friggin clue where the other went, probly stolen, if you run into a pile of amc v8 heads it would be the one with the smoothest intake and exhaust ports, i have 3220502-1 laying on a workbench ready for porting but i need another, the 3220502-2 that wt has is a perfect partner for my buildup of this amc 427, his are from a 360 and my one...LOL is from a 401
i have a pair of 322-0502-2
and 323-1475-1&2
lol
Hey Fuzz (get ready for buttering) how do i smoothly talk you out of those heads?
but i like the 321-6090
6090 for 0502-2 lol or a set of 291 lol
i got to check my pile, i do have a 290 with heads that can be made to take large valves, they have a tiny combustion chamber
290 heads would be sq port not dog leg
I know fuzz but i would make up for that with a box of these

The 291's are 3196291, 1970 51 cc chamber heads, the 090's are 1973 58 cc heads, and the 502's are 3220502 1974 60 cc heads, I have tested an example of all 3 combustion chamber sizes. The 291 and 090 heads have a multi angle valve seat, the 502's are utterly stock. There is no porting on any of these. They were all tested as identical as I could make it - same port, valves, inlet radius plate, flow bench, day, operator, and bench temperature. The correction factor for the bench temperature is a reduction of 1.6%, I couldn't be bothered adding it in.
The shrouding on the 291 heads really hurts the flow, it really surprised me. The later 60 cc chamber heads probably flow the best, I figure a valve job would make up the little difference with the 090 heads.
they are soo close fuzz that a mild port would tip the scales, i will run 0502's and use guideplates and port them and save the supposedly good heads for the other guys
