Do now you support the York Compressor?
Yes we do we are finalizing the kit and should have it for sale in our estore at the end of the week. Price is $670.
Very Nice.... Before I get out of the service I need to learn how to play with CNC mills and lathes... ;)
Great! Once you have it I will place the order.
We are shipping after the 1st of Jan
Still don't see the Serpentine set up for the York A/C compressor listed. Is it available now?
Ooops sorry I didnt see your post yes it is for sale now. Here is a pic of the York specific parts.

Would this include replacement for ALL alternator and ac brackets (other than the AC supoort base). Also, does it come with the 7/16 bolt for alt as well as the waterpump support bolt? Sorry for so many questions...:/
This system currently only replaces the alternator bracket. The AC bracket uses a 7/16 stud on the block for the lower part of the bracket kit does not include this stud however they are cheap and easy to find.
Ok, thanks.
Just purchased one. I'm excited to get this engine install wrapped up. Which belt should I purchase for this? Also, what pulley removers do I need for the saginaw (circa 7eight) and alternator? (what size that is) Had to write out eight to get rid of double flipoff.
Hey MC, do you support the non-AC to full AC serp kit? Running the non-AC kit now - and runs well, but want on-board air compressor.

Absolutely Pat! You will need some spacers, a new alty bracket, a new York or Sanden clutch kit and a factory bracket for york or sanden. We will be making factory style brackets soon.
Should I be using spacers behind my York bracket? All of the other pulleys line up fine except for the York. It's like a 1/2" too far back. There aren't instructions so I was unsure. Thanks.
Yes the spacers are for the York.
MC, any plans to have a PS bracket that moves it down or away from the Dizzy 1-2 inches? Getting those two wires through there is a bit tricky and they rub the pump housing.

I'm in San Diego right now, waiting on Sam & RDM right now. Pics to follow in June ...
Dang man... You do get around! ;-)
I have the serpentine kit for the sanden and i thought for the cs144. First off i am surprised the kit doesn't include written instructions, all required bolts and the proper belt. I think i ended up buying the wrong belt, because there was nothing that indicated what the right belt part number for the sanden kit is. In the pictures of the install that i qcan find the drivers side idler pulley is mounted in the upward postion in the york photo and downward with the only install pics I have seen with the sanden. Is that right for some reason? Also, I'm trying to find a cs144 that has mounting holes 6 7/8 apart as the bracket is set up. Every one that i have found so far are around 7 1/8. Lastly, I'm wondering why the upper mounting hole on the alternator bracket doesn't line up with the hole in the head like the stock bracket. It would be a much stronger mounting arrangement, especially when using the heavier cs144.
The serpentine kits do not support the CS144. Sanden idler will go down and the belt is a K060915. Do you have the slotted bracket or the one with holes in it?
There was a post on the ifsja board back a year or so
, that said the kit now supported cs144. It is one of the reasons i bought it. I have the slotted bracket with both 6 5/8 and 6 7/8 inch slots. Which alternator is the 6 7/8 slot for. In the post announcing the support it indicated it was for the cs144. Thanks for answer on the idler and belt. I can get that on today. I also left you a pm about the feasibility of getting a bracket made for 6.6 inch alt mounting like the si12 and 7.2 inch mounting like the cs144. Ideally this would have the upper bolt running all the way through to the head like stock. Thanks for making the kit available and affordable. Your company has made owning these old beasts manageable.
We did make a bracket for alittle while but the sales #'s werent there. Our CAD systems were updated and all the drawings for the old bracket are gone. The 6.6 mounting will work with the smaller slot. The 7.2" mounting is tricky. Maybe sometime next week we will be able to look deeper into it.
Sounds good. Its possible that the existing bracket design without any slots could work for me. The cs144 fits in the bracket, and the fan clears the edges by 3/16 or so. The tension adjustment bolt hole on the alternator simply hangs below the slot by around .25 inches. I could probably just drill one hole for the cs144 in an unslotted bracket and make the belt adjustment at the power steering pump. Of course all that assumes that your current cad parameters are the same as when my bracket was made. I will still fab something up to support the top mounting bolt better, and maybe also the rear of the alternator since there is a threaded hole in the back of the alt for that purpose.
We did it 2 ways. One was 3 bolts through the slots with a little machines piece for the CS144's big body and the other was a large bracket. I wonder if we have any of those leg adaptors left. I will look and if we dont I bet I have a drawing on them.
The k060915 belt turned out to be way to small for the sanden kit. I would have to put an alternator size pulley on the power steering pump to get it to work, and that might not be enough. Can i take a string or something to measure the total length needed and somehow convert that to a belt size?
Your right I am sorry I gave you the York size the Sanden is K061031 We have them in stock PM me your addy I will see one out.
No worries, i can take the other one back to the parts store and get the 61031
Trying to install Idler on water pump side of serpentine kit 1st picture shows pulley down and second picture shows it in up position niether seems to work on mine
does the long bolt go in place of bolt that holds the pump bracket? if so where does the arm attach?
What is the serpentine belt length for York compressor systems? I see gates part #K060915 (92.125" long) cited previously in this forum and K061031 (103.67" long) on the product description (http://www.bulltear.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=247). Which is correct? Thanks -
k061031
I cannot get the york compressor pulley to line up with the other pulleys (76 wagoneer 401 with horizontal york). All of the other pulleys line up but the york compressor is too far towards the motor by ~ 1/2". I rechecked and I did buy your serp kit for the York not the Sanden. Do you have any detailed pictures of the bolt set-up with the york? The only instructions I see on your website is the non-ac kit.
The York aluminum bracket must be spaced out using the spacers that came with the kit. This will eliminate the steel bracket.
Do you have any detailed pictures of this setup? Do the spacers go behind the stock lower aluminum bracket? Can I leave the York horizontally mounted or do I have to mount it vertically like the pic on your website with the Javelin motor? Can I just eliminate the York with the current pulley setup? If so, do you have a part # or length of the required belt? Thanks-
You space out the York using the spacers behind the original bracket. You can mount it vertically or horizontal it can be mounted any way.
