AMC 360 Distributor

I'm looking for a AMC distributor that fits a 360V8. Really looking for the guts so I can use it to prime the motor w/oil before start up.

P.S. I think my engine is a '74.

I might have a points type dizzy in the parts bin somewhere. Let me check. If I have one that doesn't have any special application by the part number, I'd let you have it for the cost of shipping.

Thanks Bob, I'm sure it will work. Not really sure of the yr but I got the info off the head number so I think it is a '74.

P.S. Shipping to 89407

I used the shaft from a Chebby HEI Dist. for priming the oil pump on my 78 360. Worked good w/ a cordless drill. Saved the rare-ish AMC parts!

Well, if you still have it, ship it, and when I get to that point I'll use it, and, ship it back.

What ever works guys is fine with me & I appreciate the help/suggestions.

I have a primer already made from a dizzy. If you want to use that and ship it back, that would be fine too. I could probably fit it in a 4.95 flat rate box.

Whatever works for you Bob. I won't be ready for it until the middle/end of February hopefully. But in any case, when I'm done I will send it back if you are in no hurry.

PM me your snail mail, and I'll send it to you. I won't need it for a while. I should get my 67 Rogue some time in March. Got a lot of work to do before the engine even goes together (69 390). Gonna make it a SC/Rambler clone, but going to use suspension from www.freakride.com. This baby is going to go straight AND turn.
