I have a 69' amx & I am using an oem tank that has been coated inside and out by tank-renu.

Sounds like an exo-skeleton is in order when you finish the body repair.

I've never torqued mine, just make sure they're tight but not over tight.

If you're interested I can put you in contact with a couple of guys that have done this.

gear on the counter shaft is missing a few teeth. I had a t10 with a 2.64 1st built so all is good.

I like it, although its going to take a bit of getting used to.
