It's a 3 speed. If it was a 77, it should be a T-150. Kind of marginal trans behind a 360. I took out 2nd gear in 2 of them before I upgraded to a T-18 in my CJ.

Don't use this machinist. I have every engine I build balanced. A so-so balance is OK for a factory built/remanufactured engine, but anything built for performance and longevity should be balanced...
