FL Trip ...

Well as some of you may know, I followed Jeeps4ever and Superman’s lead and took a 4wheeling trip to Ocala FL with the FloridaJeepers.net group. Had a great time even though my Jeep was still on jack-stands.

Sunday, before I pulled chocks, we had 49 Jeeps in a group shot. We had near 80 Jeeps from several clubs in the campground. I was standing on the roof of my Dodge and still had to paste picts together!!

Other than a $37 hotel phone bill in SoCarolina!!! The ride home was much better than the rain and mongo head winds I had when headed south. Stopped at a used car lot / Uhaul / Trailer sales place and brought home this 18 footer for the next trail ride ….

Yeah Mud a buddy of mine from teh local wheelers club the BOGGERS was down there and he asked me what was going on...too bad he was out of time otherwise you would have met another crazy MN Jeeper

Woulda been cool!!! Met lotsa great folks and not all from FL!!! The Teal and the Red CJs (the red one as the tire tracks across the hood) were built by "bobbed85" (Tony) They are cut down scramblers with 350 TBIs on 40" MTRs- that man can build a machine!!! It's his CJ that was the duty snatch and tow truck on Saturdays ride and the one that went 1/2 way over. Durn roots!!! His left rear hit a big one and threw him right over!! If you watch the video, you can hear is son, "That was awsome dad!!"

Man, I REALLY wish I could have made that trip, looks like you had a blast! I also dig the new trailer! Sorry I couldn't make it the other day, work stinks as you know. I am pretty much off all day wed and thur if you want turn some wrenches!

You tell me you'll make it and I'll take one of the days off!!! Got gas for the torch and welder, have a bunch of 1/4 and 3/8 plate - but don't have the new rear frame mount May need a trip to UWI to find a couple.

If you have Wed off why don't we meet and you can show me where the one is on this side for parts and then Thurs we can put'm in??

Rear frame mount? Are you talking about some perches to use for your rear mount for the front springs? Let me know! I just have to go in for a meeting at 1:30 and will probably be out around 4ish. The rest of the day I have off, though. Just let me know!!!

That's the one - but it needs to be a strap type - like the rear/rear mount not the "H" like on the stock front/rear mount.
