The CJ10 is 1983 and came with an AMC 232 which has been transplanted with a GMH 253 V8. Small but economical and powers the truck well. The T18 is always overgeared so fitting Cooper 33X12.5X15 geared it down to an acceptable level with no need to change the diff ratios. It will struggle into a headwind however.
My winter tyres are skinny Simex Treckers 32"X9.5"X16" and they are going on for the next trip away. Because a TJ has not got the range in a tank of fuel and can't realisticaly carry spare fuel for a 550km round trip the CJ10 is being utilised as a "fuel mule" for a trek into the high country.
My other Jeeps? A 1982 full size that I'm trying to sell. Too many Jeeps! A Grand Laredo ZJ with a budget boost and not a lot else. My wifes XJ that will stay stock "forever"! And my son who runs a TJ with a Rubicon 5 1/2" lift and other goodies to long to mention.
