    Oil Pump Gasket Thickness

    While I am on the topic, and this may seem like a stupid question - On this site I see references to a .085 gasket for the oil pump adaptor. Is this a different gasket thickness from the standard gasket? i.e. Melling etc.

    mellings are .012
    Bulltears are .007
    sealed power are .0085
    fastecs are .011


    The thinner the gasket the tighter the pump, the tighter the pump the more efficient it is
