    360 to 401 swap

I am in need of rebuilding my 360 and before I get into it I was wondering if I could just replace it with a 401. Are there any other modifications or can I just drop in the 401 and hook everything back up? Is this worth doing? I am towing a travel trailer with it and was thinking the 401 would have more low-end torque. I have a 87 Grand Wagoneer.

This swap is a direct bolt-in.

Just be sure to use the 401 flexplate and/or flywheel and balancer as they are different.

I did this in both my CJ's, and my Cherokee - it's a "piece of cake"
